Dear Students, Parents and CommunityMembers

Welcome to the 2024-25 school year. Thank you for your patience as we resolve our transportation concerns. We know that not having consistent transportation to and from school adds stress to both students and families. We currently have an open bus driver position posted on our website. Please spread the word about this to those you know. Effective Tuesday, we will be running a transportation van, which we have rented from Walla Walla School District, to transport those students who are on the Waitsburg side of Dixie. The drivers of this van are qualified and we ask that students follow the same behavior rules as they would on the school bus. The Walla Walla students will be transported by a bus. Please see the attached bus routes for pick up and drop off times. We will be using the van to transport students until we are able to employ another bus driver. If you have any questions, please reach out to our office. Thank you for choosing Dixie School District and we look forward to a great year this year.

Sincerely,

Jacob Bang

Principal/Superintendent Dixie School District
